22 april 2010 – Collaboration "Right To Play" & Chuva Rainstyle is a fact!

We at Chuva Rainstyle not only like to mean something for our clients and ourselves but we also like to do some charity. We chose the international and humanitarian organisation: "Right To Play" and are very happy that they have recently agreed to link their name to our business. By using the following format we would like to support this organisation: For every order we will donate €1 to Right To Play. And no, we have not calculated this amount into the price of our products. It comes from our own turnover. This gives us (and hopefully you too) the feeling that we can mean something for the community.

Below Marjolein van den Brink (Right To Play - Manager Communications and PR) gives a good impression of our charity:

“Right To Play is an international and humanitarian organisation which wants to improve the lives of children in war-torn countries and areas of distress with sport and play programs. Why? Because sport and play are powerful instruments that contribute to physical and social development, peace, health and education. To carry out these programs, Right To Play educates local volunteers to become Coaches.”

Right To Play was founded by Johann Olay Koss and is formed by top athletes and volunteers. Please visit www.righttoplay.nl for more information.

Easterweekend 2010 – First Chuva Rainstyle rain coat sold!

It is official, our very first Chuva Rainstyle rain coat order is a fact! Noni’s cousin surprised his girlfriend on her birthday with the rain coat “Red Riot”. This coat suits her perfectly and she wears it with pride (even when it is not raining). This is our start sign, let’s sell! The first order was 2 days later followed by the first order of a Chuva Rainstyle saddle cover deluxe!

Sunday 21 march successful photo shoot!

The weather was good, the photographer was at his best, the models beautiful as ever and the restaurant Prachtig the top location which completed the whole package. After many after hours the saturday before (finish scenario, declaration forms, take care of logistics) we were also fresh and vividly present on the set that sunday. We all had to get used to the situation, because it does not happen every day that you do a photo shoot for your web shop. Fortunately there was a good and relaxed mood and we created a super professional result. Even though this was the first time ever for some of us. This result can of course be viewed on our website, our flyer and in the near future Hyves and Facebook.

Please take a look at the photos behind the scene below.

Photographer Jeff, models Shiva, Ilse, Esther, Serpil and Cynthia, make-up artist Sharon and restaurant Prachtig: MANY THANKS TO ALL!
